The DeLorean is my dream car

The purchase made no sense. The smashed Delorean for $4,000 was from a mint condition car with perfect engine and brand new wheels and tires. Just needed some chassis and body work. This one for $9,500 is a rust bucket with red paint obviously covering body filler with an engine bay filled with rust and spiders webs, cheap wheels and bald tires. How they came up with $9,500 is nuts. I think $5,000 would be a lottery for the owner.

My Dad passed in 2000 . One of the last things he wanted to do with me was for me to experience a live band . I was 14 and got to chaperon him to a hamsters gig at the Farnham maltings . What a night 👌🏻

They are excellent musician whose playing of instruments is organically intertwined. Great voice and guitar playing.

Slim was a wicked guitarist....seen the hamsters many times with my dad ..good band. Hope they are doing well...i still got a jimi hamster pin badge actually... had a wicked live tone... and lights on the guitar necks haha...they did the whole bit... glad to find this.. best jimi cover band ive ever heard

I was lucky enough to see them many times, and never left a gig disappointed. They always played a brilliant set! Do you have a sound recording or video of The Hamsters cover of “Lonesome Blues” that you could upload? The song was written by Stephen Bruton (RIP) and was on his album “Nothing But The Truth”. Maybe you’ve got some unofficial “live tapes”…… I hope that Slim, Zsa Zsa, and the Reverend are enjoying their retirement, keeping safe and in good health. Thank you again. Saw them many times ,always a great night ,The Hamsters sure knew what the audience wanted and delivered in style ,brilliant band that could have a laugh with the gig goers ,they played The Brickmakers in Norwich regularly ,supported The Feelgoods numerous times .

I LOVE that the Austin Powers theme (as it is now known) is used at the 7:10 mark.

Slim used to do some guitar lesson things for, Guitarist I think it was, back in the 90s. They were great. I wish I could find them on line. I'm sure I could still learn some shit. He's awesome.

It`s a perfect, almost "eternal" car. Stainless steel body - no corrosion, no need to paint. But it may be matted or polished. Do you know another car what was made like this?
